I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life. I think that's important if you're going to own a plastering company here. This is my home and I take a lot of pride in doing successful work for my neighbors, the environment and our specific climate needs.
I started plastering in 1988. I worked for 23 years in the plastering local union in Seattle perfecting my trade before opening Puget Sound Plastering in 2010. I am on-site daily supervising my dedicated crew to ensure the quality of our work is always top-notch.
Unlike some other services, plastering and stucco work is largely depended on the craftsmen doing the work. The materials each person uses may be the same, but the techniques they use to apply those materials can vary greatly.
This is what makes the difference between finished projects that lasts decades or one that develops problems shortly down the road. Over our many years in the business, we have learned you cannot cut corners if you want to deliver long lasting results.
If you are only comparing dollar amounts when evaluating estimates, you're doing a disservice to yourself. After all, you won't be happy if your stucco finish cracks or your plaster repair is noticeable when the contractor said it would be virtually invisible.
